Joe Hart seems to walk out of training after heated debate with Guardiola

Reading too much into things?

JOE

Poor Joe Hart’s not had the best of summers, bless him.

First of all, a high profile blunder against Iceland over in France made him one of the main scapegoats for England’s embarrassing Euro 2016 exit. Weeks later, the 29-year-old appears to be having his nose pushed out by Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.

Three games in to their 2016/17 season, Hart is yet to make an appearance between the sticks for City, demoted in favour of Willy Caballero. With reports intensifying that Barcelona’s Claudio Bravo is Etihad-bound, it seems like the writing’s on the wall for Hart.

On Tuesday morning, Sky Sports News showed footage of a training ground discussion between Hart and Guardiola. Let’s stress that it’s not exactly entering training ground bust-up territory, but the fact that Hart appears to walk away from the main training session after the chat with Guardiola leads presenter Rob Wotton to remark that it’s “fascinating” footage.

“Joe walking off the training ground there doesn’t look very good,” adds former City striker Paul Dickov, accompanying Wotton in the studio.

Of course, we’re not clear from the footage if Hart’s training session *did*end at this point. The fact that he breaks into a little sideways skip a few seconds later doesn’t exactly suggest that he’s on the brink of smashing up the changing rooms and setting fire to Guardiola’s Ferrari, does it?

Hart had been linked with a move to Everton in recent days, although reports on Monday night suggested that Ronald Koeman had cooled his interest.
