The time is almost nigh for the Bond theme tune, says 007 director Sam Mendes.
The filmmaker – who is currently at the helm of the franchise’s latest instalment Spectre – said the title song had been finished and insisted fans will be hearing the track very soon.
He told BBC Radio’s Test Match Special: “I can say that the song’s been recorded and it’s fantastic and I’m very excited about it. You won’t have to wait long.”
It is still a closely guarded secret who will be following in Adele’s footsteps with the job for the theme, although Ellie Goulding got spy fans excited when she tweeted ‘Live and Let die’ earlier this month.
Mendes has also ruled himself out of directing another 007 movie after Spectre, released October 26.
