The time of reckoning has arrived.

The hearing into Jon Jones’ doping case, and the complaint against Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz for their press conference fracas, will be heard on October 10 by the Nevada Athletic Commission.

Jones failed a drug test before UFC 200, where he was scheduled to fight in the main event against Daniel Cormier. The American fighter tested positive for clomiphene and letrozol and faces a suspension and fine.

Cormier ended up facing Anderson Silva after the Brazilian stepped in at late notice, and won by unanimous decision.

McGregor and Diaz were involved in an incident before their bout at UFC 202 in August, which McGregor won by majority decision to avenge his submission defeat to Diaz at UFC 196 back in March.

The two fighters threw water bottles and other objects at each other during the press conference, leading at the time to a suggestion McGregor could be sued after one of the errant missiles reportedly hit a child in the crowd.

According to MMA Fighting, McGregor and Diaz are likely facing fines and community service for their parts in the fracas, which is in line with comments made by UFC president Dana White in the immediate aftermath of last month’s incident.
