Chelsea fans jump to outrageous conclusions after Cesc Fabregas uploads pizza Snapchat story

Outrage

If professional athletes posting pictures of junk food on social media doesn’t get your blood boiling, you’re not overreacting hard enough.

Some Chelsea fans became concerned the other night that their internationally renowned football droid Cesc Fabregas may have been malfunctioning.

The emotionless machine that was manufactured to excel at tasks such as passing and shooting a football started showcasing human-like behaviour on social media.

While fans had come to expect Cesc to be fueled by only the cleanest of organic products, there was a genuine fear that the Cesc-bot 5000 had gone rogue when he uploaded a Snapchat story of an image of pizza and desserts.

Blues boss Antonio Conte famously banned his players from consuming food-stuffs that might jam up their cogs and gears such as pizza and ketchup, so the natural reaction from fans was to make the assumption that the Spaniard was on the way out of Stamford Bridge.

After incurring the wrath of the Chelsea faithful, Fabregas must have seen how his simple story had gone viral and caused a lot of fury. However, he made sure to save his own hide from Conte’s firm boot by sending a follow-up story which cleared his name, but also pointed the finger of blame squarely on his children.
