Say what you want about Conor McGregor, but this shows what kind of man he is.
People say he’s arrogant, deluded, cocksure, cocky, brash, classless and a thousand other things that could quite conceivably be true – certainly of his stage persona, anyway.
Just this week UFC welterweight Donald Cerrone said that none of his fellow UFC fighters liked the Irishman – not that the multi-millionaire McGregor will care.
But whatever people think of the UFC featherweight champion and however he acts in front of the media, he always looks after his fans.
McGregor has shared a photo of himself and a young fan, who wanted a selfie with the UFC champion but didn’t have her phone handy.
The Dublin native posted the image of the pair with big cheesy grins with the caption “to the little lady who left her phone at home”.
He might have the biggest gob in MMA, but he surely has one of the biggest hearts in the sport too for making this little girl’s day…

It’s not the first time McGregor has gone above and beyond for his faithful followers.
The Irishman invited a young terminally-ill boy named Gavin Glynn to visit him at his SBG gym several years ago.
The lad, who was suffering a rare form of cancer, got the chance to ‘spar’ with his hero on the matt.
You can see the joy on his face in these photos shared by his father before McGregor’s UFCÂ 196 fight with Nate Diaz.
@SportsJOEdotie some people don't see this side of Conor. Absolute gent. Will always remember how happy they were that day#teamgavinglynn

Another time McGregor actually went and visited a huge fan who had a cardboard cutout of McGregor and an Ireland flag on the balcony of his LA apartment.
The Irishman spotted it driving past and pulled over to go and say hello. When he knocked on his door unannounced, it’s safe to say the guy was chuffed…
