There’s not long to go now.
It’s going to take some last minute body clock adjustment for all fighters competing at UFC 204 on Saturday night.
After weighing in officially earlier on Friday morning, the competitors are set to go through the ceremonial weigh-ins at 6pm in Manchester.
Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson are both on weight for their grudge rematch for the middleweight title but, in spite of seemingly healthy weight cuts, we’d expect fireworks when they go nose-to-nose in front of the hometown crowd who will be roaring ‘The Count’ on.
The fight card will take place through the middle of the night in order to cater to the pay-per-view audience in the United States.
And that means there will be roughly 36 hours between the televised weigh-ins and the UFC 204 main event, so let’s hope the headliners have a good plan for how to combat the oddity that will comes with fighting at close to 6am local time.
Enjoy!
