Diego Costa is a born winner. Diego Costa is also something of an unrepentant bastardo. It’s why Chelsea fans adore him, and why rival fans love to hate him. More than any other player in the Premier League, he is the very archetype of the panto villain.
It is also why you should never challenge him to anything – be it a 50/50 tackle, a quick match of tiddlywinks, or a game of FIFA. There’s no good outcome – if you win he’ll get mad, if you lose, he’ll be absolutely insufferable. And not a little dangerous too.
The superbad striker uploaded a couple of short videos that show exactly why he’s such a literal pain to play against – even at armchair activities. Having beaten his pal at FIFA, Costa exacts a forfeit on the loser with a number of finger flicks to the ear.
Except these weren’t gentle efforts – Diego really goes for it, hoping to inflict maximum pain on his ‘friend’. We’re not sure what’s more wince-inducing to watch – the sharp crack of each flick, or the Spaniard’s joyous gloating to camera…
