At first, Conor McGregor was apprehensive when presented with the New York City inspired leather jacket that was gifted to all fighters on the momentous UFC 205 fight card.
But once he tried it on, it was greeted with a resounding “I’d rock that!”
‘The Notorious’, as well as the five other fighters involved in title tilts this weekend, received their Reebok gear in the latest episode of UFC Embedded which also encapsulated the open workouts in Madison Square Garden.
Special gloves were also designed for the organisation’s debut event in MSG and McGregor appeared thrilled to get his knuckles into them.
Finally, McGregor managed to get his hands on two championship belts, adding that it felt “familiar” just two days before he has the chance to become the first fighter in UFC history to hold a title in two different weight classes simultaneously.
With McGregor taking on Eddie Alvarez in an effort to add to the belt he took for defeating Jose Aldo at featherweight, is this image a sign of things to come?
Only time will tell…
