The last time Conor McGregor took part in a pre-fight press conference, this happened.

Let’s hope there’s not a repeat of the bottle and can throwing kerfuffle that closed out the UFC 202 pre-fight presser and ultimately cost ‘The Notorious’ $150,000.
Tonight McGregor will come face to face with the man standing in the way of a historical achievement as he is about to share the stage with UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, the fighter who the Irishman must beat in order to become the first fighter in UFC history to hold a title in two different weight class simultaneously.
Expect a war of words as both men try to put the finishing touches to their battle to gain a psychological edge over one another.
Also speaking at tonight’s press conference will be UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, challenger Stephen Thompson, UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz… although we expect the lion’s share of questions to be directed at the men involved in Saturday’s main event.
The action is expected to get underway at 8pm Irish time but take that with a pint of salt as McGregor is not renowned for his timekeeping skills.
