Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez are set to look into one another’s eyes for the final time before fight night.

While the broadcast “weigh-in” for UFC 205 is nothing more than a glorified photo opp which will see the fighters involved in Saturday night’s momentous card square off for the last time, it’s still a good opportunity for the promotion to sell its product to the masses.
The competitors all officially weighed in earlier on Friday, when the reporters in attendance witnessed weight limits being missed, fights being scrapped and an unexpected exchange between McGregor and welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.
But expect fireworks when ‘The Notorious’ locks eyes with the man who stands in his way of making history.
The roaring Irish fans in attendance will certainly ramp up the hostility that already exists between the two men who headline the UFC’s debut in Madison Square Garden.
The action gets underway at 11pm UK time.
