Mothers on TikTok are comparing the biggest babies they’ve delivered. One woman won hands down
There are some peculiar trends on TikTok, we all know that, but surely no one is expecting to log on and see mums having a ‘who’s had the biggest baby-off’.
Responding to @tawnee117 video, in which she wanted to know who had delivered the biggest baby, fellow user, @shans1588, hit her back with more than anyone bargained for – literally and figuratively:

As it soon becomes apparent, there aren’t many people who can compete with this entry in this comparative contest. As Shan herself quickly remarks, she practically “gave birth to a toddler, as her son weighed in at a whopping 14lb .06 oz. Who’s got that Thierry Henry ‘Blimey!’ meme?
As she goes on to explain, it took two doctors to carry out the C-section needed to deliver the six and a half kilogram kid, who was also “23 and three-quarter inches long” – that’s nearly 60 centimetres, to us Brits.
For those of us who have no idea how big newborn babies usually are upon arrival, this is about double the size of the average weight and as much as triple the size of what is still considered within the lower end of the normal range.
Understandably, the baby was monitored in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for 11 days, in which time, “they had to go upstairs to paediatrics and get size three diapers and he came home in clothing, sized six to nine months.”
The video has been viewed nearly 30 million times already and the comments are just as incredible as you’d expect. One person described the doctors and nurses as “holding him like a prize-winning bass,” whereas another joked, “He’s already got a credit score.” That’s the winner.
Not to worry, the kid is now a healthy five-year-old who “loves baseball and football”. He could have been playing them already for all we know…
