The Simpsons remains brilliant, despite how bad it’s been for over a decade
Such is the pure genius of seasons 2-10/3-9 (depending on your own sensibilities) that the show could continue on its current trajectory for another 50 years – and let’s face it, that may happen – and it would still be arguably the greatest television show ever made.
We all have our personal favourite characters, Homer being the most obvious choice, but many of the show’s best moments have come courtesy of obscure or even one-off characters appearing in solitary episodes.
