Cooper began 2020 doing a late night set at a pizza place, now she’s got her own Netflix special
While 2020 has been a year to forget for many so far, for writer and comedian Sarah Cooper, it’s been a matter of making the best out of a weird situation.
She’s managed to carve out a niche for herself, while sheltering at home during the pandemic, by lip-syncing to the ramblings of US president Donald Trump.
You’ve almost certainly seen the video which ignited her newfound fame.

Her popularity has only grown since and after appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon back in June, this week, she guest-hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live.
On the back of this, Cooper is getting her own comedy special on Netflix later this year.
Yes, it should be around the time of the US presidential election…
Sarah Cooper: Everything’s Fine will deal with issues of politics, race, gender, class, and other, more light-hearted subjects.
She will be joined by an array of special guests, who will participate in short interviews and sketches.
The special is due to be directed by Russian Doll and Orange Is The New Black star Natasha Lyonne, and co-produced by Maya Rudolph of Saturday Night Live.
