Wear a mask for goodness sake
It’s very simple people. If you wear a mask it will protect you and others. Coronavirus is extremely dangerous, it is not ‘just a flu’. It has claimed the lives of more than 45,000 British people and the lives of more than 600,000 globally.
In an ideal world, all citizens would happily wear a mask in public to ensure that they do not spread the virus, but we do not live in an ideal world. We, unfortunately, live in a world where conspiracy theories and unfounded ideas are more convincing to some than actual science.
People who claim to be patriots fighting for liberty are up in arms about being required to wear masks in public spaces, and a number of them gathered together in London on Monday to protest against face masks.
Some didn’t wear any masks, some wore Plague doctor costumes, others wore G-strings across their mouths.
Medically speaking, each of them is wrong. Wear a mask. Help save lives.
