Rogan is raging
Joe Rogan has had enough of people mocking him for fighting his Covid infection with Ivermectin, a drug used to treat horses but also humans on occasion.
On Tuesday’s episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, comedian Tom Segura greeted Rogan by saying: “Well, well well, if it isn’t old ‘Horse Worm Rogan’.”

After testing positive for Covid, Rogan announced he was treating the virus with an assortment of drugs: “Monoclonal antibodies, ivermectin, Z-Pak, prednisone, everything. I also got an NAD drip and a vitamin drip and I did that three days in a row. Here we are on Wednesday, and I feel great.”
But while he’s shouldered widespread criticism on social media for his Covid treatment choices, Rogan has taken issue with news reports about it.
“Bro, do I have to sue CNN?” Rogan said to Segura.
“They’re making s*it up! … They keep saying I’m taking horse dewormer. I literally got it from a doctor. It’s an American company. They won the Nobel Prize in 2015 for use in human beings, and CNN is saying I’m taking horse dewormer. They must know that’s a lie.”
Rogan is referencing Ivermectin, a drug that was in fact awarded the Nobel Prize in 2015. The unique attributes of the drug are interesting “due to its ability to be repurposed,” says the US national library of medicine.

However, the drug has only been tested in vitro and not in Vivo, which means it has only been tested in a lab and not on a living organism.
The drug is FDA approved but not to treat Covid, and in fact, the governing body is urging people not to take it in replacement of CDC recommended avenues.
The FDA said that Ivermectin is “not authorized or approved ivermectin for use in preventing or treating COVID-19 in humans or animals.”
But Rogan was not pleased at all, despite cherry-picking information that aligns with his own biases.
“CNN was saying I am a distributor of misinformation,” he said. “I don’t know what’s going on, man. You know, there is a lot of speculation. One of the speculations involves the emergency use authorisation for the vaccines. That, in order for there to be an emergency use authorisation, there has to be no treatment for a disease.”
Rogan also slammed medical professionals, for talking down the drug, saying they were “pretending they don’t really work or they are conspiracy theories.”
“The grand conspiracy is that the pharmaceutical companies are in cahoots to try and make anybody who takes this stuff look crazy,” Rogan reiterated. “But what’s crazy is look how better I got [sic]! I got better pretty quick, bitch.”
