Prince Charles tested positive on Thursday morning
The Prince of Wales has tested positive for covid and is now self-isolating, Clarence House has said.
Prince Charles received the positive result on Thursday morning and has postponed a visit to Winchester, the palace said, adding that he is “deeply disappointed not to be able to attend”.

It is the second time the 73-year-old has contracted coronavirus.
Prince Charles tested positive in March 2020, but he had only minor symptoms.
The news came as Wales’ First Minister Mark Drakeford also tested positive for coronavirus.
Drakeford was due to announce his latest review of coronavirus legislation.
Some 68,214 tested positive on Wednesday, according to government figures, and 276 died.
