Polish national Dariusz Wolosz died 30 minutes after police were called to the scene
A 13-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a 46-year-old man in west London.
The Met Police said Dariusz Wolosz died 30 minutes after officers were called to Yiewsley High Street in West Drayton in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, Wolosz, who had been stabbed, was pronounced dead minutes later.
A post-mortem was carried out on Thursday and gave the cause of death as stab wounds to the groin and chest.
Officers earlier said they believed the Polish national, who lived locally, was attacked by a “group of males”.
Scotland Yard said his “distraught” family continue to be supported by specialist officers.

The Evening Standard reported that Wolosz’s killing was the suburb’s second murder in five days. Elvis Tacu, 16, died from a knife wound close to Heather Lane on Thursday evening.
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley, of the Met’s Specialist Crime, said police believed Wolosz was attacked following a “verbal dispute”.
“The group then fled in different directions,” he said, adding: “The area was busy at the time with passing traffic and people driving past could well have captured dash cam footage of the incident, and the moments leading up to it.
“Dariusz’ family are distraught and we are doing everything we can to support them at this time. We need the public’s help now to find those responsible.
“I urge local people to check any doorbell and dash cameras to check them; you may have captured something that could be very significant for us.”
