The woman is being treated for severe head trauma
CCTV footage released by Police shows the harrowing moments before a woman was brutally beaten and nearly raped by her gloved attacker.
An unnamed 43-year-old woman was savagely beaten after being punched in the back of the head, reports the New York Post. CCTV footage released by the NYPD captured her assailant dragging her between to cars where reports say he attempted to rape her in Harlem, New York.
The footage shows the man donning latex gloves just before the attack that happened at around 11:30 pm on March 18. According to police, the attack happened on West 123rd Street between Lenox Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard.
“He was walking right behind her when you see him putting the gloves on in the video,” a police source said. “He pounced on her right after that.”
The woman was kicked numerous times in the head and body, as well as “curb stomping” her. She was treated for severe head trauma at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem.
The man is described as a male in his 40s with a dark complexion, stocky build and standing at around 5 “8. He was last seen wearing a dark green baseball hat, black face mask, blank pants, black shoes, blue latex gloves and a white hooded sweatshirt with a pattern design.
