A dog walker managed to disturb the attack and his dog bit the teenager on the finger
A 13-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of rape after a 35-year-old woman was bundled into shrubs at a London park and sexually assaulted.
A passer-by walking his dog disturbed the late-night assault on Tuesday which allegedly involved two males at Winn’s Common in Plumstead, near Lakedale Road.
The walker managed to detain one of the suspects with the help of his dog, who bit the teen’s finger. The second male fled from the scene.
A 13-year-old was arrested on suspicion of rape.
He was treated in hospital for the dog bite before being taken into custody.

A Met Police spokesperson said officers were called shortly before 11pm to reports of a rape.
“A member of the public, who was walking his dog, disturbed the suspects and assisted in detaining one of them at the scene.
“The detained male, aged 13, was arrested on suspicion of rape and initially taken to hospital to be treated for an injury to his finger caused by a dog bite, before being taken into custody.”
The Met Police said enquiries into what happened are ongoing.
