Selena Gomez was left in hysterics after hearing a 12-year-old lad’s frankly excellent chat-up line.
The pop star dropped in on Cal Spellman’s Radio 1 show, where listeners were invited to ring up and try out their best lines.
The standout effort was from Max, 12, who wooed Gomez with this corker:
“Hi Selena, this is Max from Banff. Is your name Google? Because you’ve got everything I’ve been searching for.”
The DJ was so impressed that he played the clip again, and a flustered Selena admitted that it would almost certainly have got her attention had there not been the obvious age gap issue.
Still, Max has six years to add to his flirting repertoire, and until his 18th birthday can be satisfied in the knowledge that his Casanova skills are better than most of ours combined.
