Steve Coogan is currently considering a new Alan Partridge chat show series – and this time he wants to feature real guests.
On Alan Carr’s Chatty Man show, Coogan said:
“We might do a real one, with real guests. I don’t know. We are having a think about it. Thing is we really want to make fun of the guests in a way that is a bit edgy.
“I interviewed Elton John once and made fun of his propensity for buying huge bouquets of flowers and being a gay ex-pothead. He was great. He wore his pink suit to look extra gay for us. It was nice.”
The last episode of Steve’s current show, Mid Morning Matters, will air on March 22nd on Sky Atlantic. Alan Partridge will also appear alongside Gary Lineker and James Corden at this years Sports Relief.
Hopefully it won’t be long before the voice of North Norfolk is back on our screens.
