Looks like this weekend might be a bit of a washout, weather-wise, so what’s good on Netflix?
Here are some of our choices:
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmit
The series will pick up shortly after season 1 and finds Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) looking for a new job, Titus (Tituss Burgess) forced to face his past with the appearance of his ex-wife, and Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski) rediscovering her roots. Elsewhere, landlady Lillian (Carol Kane) finds a surprising romance.
Orphan Black
Season 4 has launched with new episodes weekly. It’s a Canadian science fiction thriller television series, starring Tatiana Maslany, about several identical people who are clones. It focuses on Sarah Manning, a woman who assumes the identity of one of her fellow clones, Elizabeth Childs, after witnessing Childs’ suicide.
The latest season picks up with Sarah (Maslany) returning home from her Icelandic hideout to track down a new ally tied to deceased clone Childs. If you haven’t seen the first three series you can watch them first on Netflix.
Better Call Saul – Season 2Â
Better Call Saul is on its 9th episode on Netflix. After a humiliating setback at work, Chuck vows to reveal Jimmy’s true nature to Kim. Meanwhile, Mike makes a bold move against Hector Salamanca.
The season finale will premiere next Tuesday (April 19), so still some time to binge on the rest of the series first.
Cuckoo – Season 3
Cuckoo is every parent’s worst nightmare, a slacker full of outlandish new age ideas. The season 3 story picks up six months after the climatic ending of Season 2’s Christmas special. You can catch up on the first two series on Netflix now.
Kong : King of the Apes
Set in 2050, this modern take on the classic has Kong as a framed fugitive who teams up with three kids to save the world from robotic dinosaurs.
