‘80s kids rejoice, Fraggle Rock is making a comeback

Nostalgia overload.

Carl Anka

Iconic children’s television show Fraggle Rock is set to get a glossy HD update.

The incredible puppet TV show Fraggle Rock, made by Muppet creator Jim Henson, saw us follow the adventures of a bunch of charming and eccentric subterranean creatures called Fraggles, who lived in an underground world alongside their industrious green neighbours, the Doozers, and a family of enormous Gorgs.

Sounds odd, but give this theme song a listen and you’ll understand there was something magical about this show.

Boasting over 100 original songs, Fraggle Rock was also a lowkey amazing musical, packed full of tunes from a range of genres including folk, blues, gospel, country and rock, all while embracing themes of friendship, tolerance, diversity, and caring for the planet.
