A bona fide Hollywood legend is appearing on the Graham Norton Show tonight

Conor Heneghan

A living legend of the silver screen.

The Deer Hunter, Kramer vs. Kramer, Sophie’s Choice, The Iron Lady, Adaptation, Doubt, The Devil Wears Prada…erm, Mama Mia. Meryl Streep is one of the greatest Hollywood stars of all time.

The 66-year-old thespian holds the record for the most Academy Award nominations of any actor, having been nominated an amazing 19 times since her first nomination in 1979 for her performance in The Deer Hunter.

On Friday night she joins Graham Norton on his BBC One show, and if it’s anything like her previous appearances, she’ll be up for a laugh and game for anything. Below is who else you can catch on tonight’s show…

Hugh Grant and Meryl Streep

Streep will be joined by Hugh Grant, as they talk to Graham about their new movie, Florence Foster Jenkins, a biographical comedy about an opera singer who can’t really sing.

It should suit Grant as he’s an actor who can’t really… *suddenly tails off*

Keeley Hawes

The experienced actress has appeared in a whole host of British television series for the best part of two decades and she’s currently starring in Line of Duty, which returned to BBC Two for a third series last month.

Joe and Jake Music

The UK’s Eurovision entrants will give viewers a taste of their song, ‘You’re Not Alone’, ahead of the big event in Sweden next month.

They’re alright, but they’re no Jedward, wha?

The Graham Norton Show is on at 10.35pm on BBC One.
