If you are looking for a Halloween binge session, then you have come to the right place – for it has been revealed that A Quiet Place is the UK’s favourite horror film.
Research from OLBG has shown that John Krasinski’s nail-biting creature feature A Quiet Place is the UK’s favourite horror film. Using Google search data from around the world, OLBG was able to build a map of the most searched-for horror flicks.
Though the film was a hit in a whopping 26 countries, the data showed that the UK has a particular love for the 2018 hit.
A Quiet Place, directed by The US Office star Krasinski, follows a family as they attempt to survive an onslaught of noise-sensitive aliens. Upon its release, the film received immense praise and Krasinski said working with his wife, Emily Blunt, was one of the most rewarding experiences of his career so far.
Other places to favourite this silent scare include the US, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.
The vast majority of Europe prefers Alien over any other horror film.
In central Africa and parts of Asia, King Kong is the favourite horror film, while northern Africa is pretty unified in their love of The Conjuring.

Ellen Ripley, played by the incredible Sigourney Weaver.
The film went on to inspire an expansive franchise with a number of sequels, comic books, video games and its own intricate universe.
