Chris Owen, who played The Sherminator in American Pie, is looking a lot different than you might remember him – two decades after the release of the film that made him famous.
He also starred in American Pie 2, American Pie Presents: Band Camp and 2012’s American Reunion. His TV work includes roles on shows such as 7th Heaven, Monk, and The Mentalist.
Although it was reported in 2013 that he had been forced to wait tables to make ends meet, the 37-year-old is once again getting active work in show business. He will appear in Sharknado 6 later this year, playing a ‘blond cowboy’ in the film.
He posted a picture of himself in costume to Instagram earlier this month, complete with new hair.
Captioning the pic: “Because when you go to Romania for the weekend to play a blond cowboy you take a picture. #Sharknado.”
