He posted a message for the first time in months
Ant McPartlin has taken to social media for the first time in months following his conviction for drink driving in April.
He has since spent a period in rehab and last week ITV’s Chief Executive Carolyn McCall announced his return to TV.
Ant has now broken his silence on Twitter. Posting from his joint account with Declan Donnelly, Ant wrote: “Hey @RoarForJess, just a little tweet to send you huge love and a big ROAR!!!”
The tweet was signed off: “Big hugs and lots of love from us both A&D xxx”.

The message of support was for seven-year-old Jess, who suffers from neuroblastoma. A number of other celebrities have sent the terminally ill girl messages of support, including Paula Radcliffe and Kelly Holmes.
McPartlin’s public comeback comes after he was charged for drink driving and handed a £86,000 fine, as well as a 20-month driving ban earlier this year.
Speaking on the presenters return to the telly, McCall told ITV News: “He will come back when he’s well and when he is ready to come back, and ITV will not be putting him under any pressure to come back unless he’s well and fit enough to come back. “So, we wish Ant well. Clearly he won’t come back a moment too soon.”
