Ah the dreams they must have had for an idyllic life together.
Sadly it didn’t work out for Ashley Cole and then Cheryl Tweedy of Girls Aloud fame, but the house they bought together in those halcyon days is now up for sale. And f*ck me, it’s a rare old pile of bricks.
The Surrey mansion cost the pair £3 million back in 2007 – and that’s when £3 million was a lot of money. It’s now on the market for a cool £7.5 million through agents Rightmove, and it’s easy to see why.
There’s the indoor pool…
The massive 42 sq ft open plan kitchen…
The biggest sofa we’ve ever seen in our poor lives…
A dining area with bin-sized light fittings…
The obligatory home cinema that’s bigger than the local Odeon…
A very gold and stately looking main bedroom…
And sensational grounds…
The eight-bedroom country house also boasts a helipad, a two-hole golf course, a five-a-side football pitch, luxury spa facilities, a sauna, snooker hall and outdoor tennis courts. How fancy!
