The Animal is rumoured to have signed a short time term deal
Batista – aka Dave Bautista – has done what very few wrestlers have managed, and forged a successful acting career.
But WWE fans still clamor for his return to the square circle.
WWE Smackdown reaches it’s 1,000 episode on October 16th – and Batista has been confirmed to part of an Evolution reunion, alongside Triple H, Randy Orton, and Ric Flair.

However, that might not be all – Uproxx are reporting that The Animal may be about to sign a short-term deal with WWE.
The supposed plan is for him to appear at Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania.
Batista made his WWE debut in 2002. He would form Evolution alongside Triple H, Ric Flair and Randy Orton, who remain one of the most successful stables of recent years. He would go on to become a six-time world champion, and leave the company in 2010.
In 2014 he returned to WWE for a short run, winning the Royal Rumble and reforming Evolution for a memorable series of matches with The Shield.
Since then, he has also established himself as a genuine movie star, appearing in Guardian of the Galaxy, Blade Runner 2049, and Spectre.
This year, he appeared in the most important film of all time, Final Score, where he saved Wet Ham from terrorists.
