This could be one of the movies of the year.
There are so many sequels and reboots in the movie business these days that it can be sometimes hard to get excited when another one is announced, but Blade Runner absolutely does not fall into that category.
35 years after the release of the original Ridley Scott classic, a sequel with a heavyweight cast and a brilliant director will arrive in cinemas this summer and a brand new trailer has only added to already massive hype surrounding it.
We can’t wait…
Plot’s it all about: 30 years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
Cast: Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, with Dave Bautista and Jared Leto.
Director: Denis Villeneuve
Release date: 10 June 2017
