Not all heroes wear capes, and sometimes, they do
Heartwarming moments seem few and far between in 2021 – which makes it all the more charming to discover Tom Holland and Zendaya spent a day on the Spider-Man: Far From Home set with a young boy who saved his sister from a dog attack.
Real-life superhero Bridger Walker, who is seven now, saved his sister from a dog attack in 2020 and now he gets to meet some other heroes of the highest calibre.

“Remember when @tomholland2013 promised Bridger he could come to the filming of Spider-Man? He delivered!” said Bridger’s father Robert Walker.
“First, a huge thank you to Tom, @HarryHolland64, @Zendaya, and the entire Marvel/Sony cast and crew for this dream-come-true adventure.”
The young boy flung himself between his baby sister and a dog last year, suffering injuries to his head and across his body that warranted 90 stitches.
The boy’s father continued: “When we first arrived on set, I was a little apprehensive that once the “curtain was pulled back” that the magic of the movies would be lost for the kids. The opposite was true! Tom, Zendaya, Harry, @lifeisaloha, @tonyrevolori, and the entire cast/crew made our kids feel like stars.
“They don’t just act the part of friendly neighbourhood heroes – that’s what they truly are.”
Walker says the expression on his kid’s faces were priceless as they turned the corner to see Holland in full suit perched on a lampost.

He continued: “It was emotional to see him wave at the kids like he was the one that was supposed to be excited – not the other way around.
“A short time later, Tom and Zendaya came over. I will never forget the grace and kindness they showed our children. Zendaya immediately approached my teenage daughter and told her how much she loved her nails. I don’t know if she will ever know how much that simple act means to me – to see my sweet daughter light up with self-confidence and joy.
“Harry Holland was our personal guide throughout the day – and all I can say is his parents must be so proud. Such a gentleman and genuinely good person. I cannot imagine there are more humble and gracious young men in all of Hollywood than the Holland boys.”
