Britain’s Got Talent fans furious over ‘disgusting’ act that made them turn off show

Some viewers described the performance as ‘uncomfortable’.

Britain’s Got Talent viewers were left traumatised after professional sword swallower Auzzy Blood took to the stage with a very graphic performance during last night’s episode.

Blood – who has competed on six different talent shows worldwide, including a previous appearance on America’s Got Talent – is known for his death-defying stunts.

He specialises in extreme body manipulation, sword swallowing, and shock-inducing acts that leave audiences wincing.

However, during his Britain’s Got Talent audition last night, Auzzy took things to another level, performing a series of dangerous and gruesome tricks that had the judges and audience squirming.

The first of Auzzy’s torturous instruments were a pair of huge silver corkscrews that he twisted through his nostrils and out of his mouth – much to the horror of everybody in the audience.

He then approached the panel and produced a long translucent tube. As you might expect, Auzzy then fed it directly through his nasopharynx.

Cowell was unfortunate enough to be invited to partake in this phase of the routine, with the contestant pouring a red liquid from one end of the tube to the other and into the judge’s mouth.

Lastly, Auzzy shoved a hook up his nose, which he used to attach himself to a rope before hauling his body weight to the ceiling and back down to the floor again.

While the panel looked on in awe, those at home appeared to find the whole thing too much to take, with several viewers branding the performance “gross” on social media.

One viewer wrote: “Auzzy Blood probably the most disturbing thing I’ve seen! what makes someone think I’m going to try and shove a metal hook up my nose.”

Another added: “Ohh my god auzzy that was flipping mad that was hard to watch but wow that was brilliant at the same time.”

“I’m actually terrified but amazed at auzzy blood rn,” commented another X user, while someone else said: “Well, I loved the hook guy, Auzzy Blood! Terrifying, gruesome and my throat and nose hurt just watching him but he’s unique!”

After wrapping up his hellish routine, judge Bruno Tonioli dubbed it “beyond grotesque” despite going on to advocate for Auzzy’s place in the competition.

Despite the shocking nature of the performance, Simon Cowell maintained that it is still appropriate for children to view and will be broadcast before the 9pm watershed.

Speaking of the success of the show, he revealed: “It’s that surprise element of never knowing what’s coming next. As much as I love music shows, you know a singer’s followed by another singer.

“With this show, when we are watching the auditions or when my friends are watching it back,” Cowell added. “You just don’t know what’s going to happen. People still think after all these years that I know what’s happening during auditions, no one tells us anything. We have no idea who’s coming on until they appear on stage.”
