Scathing stuff from the Queen.
Christ, we love Game of Thrones. Aside from the wonderful characters, epic action and endless theories, the show has also provided us with a multitude of memorable villains. Joffrey, Ramsay and Walder Frey have all been great, but they’re all dead.
As Cersei Lannister recently said about her three dead children “I loved them, I did. But they’re ashes now, and we’re still flesh and blood.”
Yes, we all despise the Queen but you have to admire her endless well of strength, determination and ruthlessness. Lena Headey’s performance in the role is absolutely breathtaking and despite the fact that she’s cold, Machiavellian and well, an utter bitch, Cersei is undoubtedly one of the best people there is when it comes to playing the Game of Thrones.
Hell, even Sansa Stark admires some of her qualities.
In real life, Headey is far more gracious and humble though.
MVP's of ep one .. in my humble opinion. Sansa and The Hound

This being said, Cersei was at the fore in the season opener as she begins to plot the defence of King’s Landing from her ever increasing list of enemies.
Do you remember the scene where Jon Snow received a raven from the Queen which asked him to go to King’s Landing and bend the knee? Well, the King in the North didn’t read out everything that was included on that piece of parchment?
HBO released an image of the whole message and it’s just vintage Cersei.
You can almost picture her drinking wine, scolding away and furiously cursing that ‘bastard’ Jon Snow as she writes this.
