Coronation Street star Malcolm Hebden is recovering after being hospitalised due to a recent “health scare.”
The actor, who plays Norris Cole, visited hospital for treatment recently after suffering an unknown illness.
The Mirror reports that Hebden is now recovering.
No further details about the actor’s illness have been revealed.
This comes six years after the 78-year-old was taken to A&E for tests after taking ill on the Coronation Street set.
He returned to work that same day.
Hebden has played Norris in the ITV soap since 1994.
Before that, he made a brief appearance on the cobbles in 1974 as Mavis Riley’s Spanish boyfriend, Carlos.
