Is there no escape?
As you’re probably already aware, the reptile circus rolls into town tomorrow.
There’s absolutely no escaping from the royal wedding because it’s everywhere – on TV, on social media, in the street, and even in soapland.
That’s right – EastEnders has gone royal wedding mad and it’s actually a bit unnerving.
Here’s what’s been going down in tonight’s episode:
It’s fair to say #RoyalWedding fever has hit Albert Square… #EastEnders pic.twitter.com/Ojg9x2xDHg
— BBC EastEnders (@bbceastenders) May 18, 2018
But oh no oh no oh no, it continued:
When you just can’t contain your excitement about the #RoyalWedding any longer… #EastEnders pic.twitter.com/OqO2P686x1

And then at the end of the episode, Stacey and her fella had a tender moment and the camera panned down to a photo of Meghan and Harry in a heart to the tune of Phil Collins’ Against All Odds.Â
Harrowing.
Still though, all this talk of the royal wedding on the square doesn’t mean that the audience care one bit.
Here’s what they had to say.
That was the most ridiculous ending to an episode of #eastenders ever, Stacey, Martin, Phil Collins & the royal wedding. Fuck right off

If these people can’t deal with this amount of royal wedding tonight, just wait til they see what happens tomorrow…
