I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here returns to our screens this autumn and there have been multiple reports concerning who will present the new show.
It has been suggested that Holly Willoughby would co-present alongside Declan Donnelly as his long-time friend and colleague Ant McPartlin is currently in rehab.
However, Dec has put paid to the rumours saying he has no intention of presenting the show without Ant, as the duo fronted the popular reality programme together since its launch in 2002.
A source close to Dec spoke to The Mirror:
“Dec wouldn’t work on screen without Ant on any major show and he has said the last thing he would do is go to Australia without him.
“To say he would consider working with Holly was ridiculous. He is a good friend of hers but he would not do that to Ant.
“Ant and Dec are a team with a huge emotional bond, they are like brothers and  Dec will only be hosting I’m A Celebrity with Ant by his side.
“They’ve got months yet to sort things out and the hope is that Ant will bounce back with another hit series of I’m A Celebrity and they will move on from this chapter in their career”.
Ant entered rehab in June to help battle issues with alcohol and prescription drugs.
According to reports, the 41-year-old TV presenter had chronic pain after a knee operation which led to an over reliance on painkiller Tramadol and also suffered from depression as a result.
