With so many new twists and turns to keep viewers engaged on this year’s X Factor, it’s no wonder host Dermot O’Leary got mixed up with it all last night.
Not only will this year’s show see a contestant leave on both Saturday and Sunday night shows, it will also see a reward for the top performers.
Yes, the highest voted act of Saturday night’s show and Sunday night’s show will go head-to-head for a chance to win rewards.
This week the big prize is a one-on-one singing lesson with Pink.
However, it seems Dermot got a little confused by it all last night when he announced Grace Davies was the highest voted act of the show and that she had already won the prize.
“You’re off to see Pink,” Dermot told the singer. “How does that feel?”
“Well, I’ve got to win the sing-off first,” Grace replied to a confused O’Leary. “No?”
“Oh sorry, you do have to win it first. I’m so sorry. I got a bit carried away,” he said after.
Aw, it’s OK Dermot – these things happen.
