Cast your mind back to the days of the primary school nativity play.
Budgets were tight and props were rough and ready, which is why the little girl who played Mary usually had a cushion up her dress to represent her ‘pregnant belly ‘ before the baby Jesus came along.
Maybe it’s the time of year, but we’re guessing that could be where the costume department got the inspiration for Rebecca’s baby bump in Emmerdale.
Last night’s episode saw Rebecca, who’s pregnant with Robert Sugden’s baby, ask her sister Chrissie to be her birthing partner.
Chrissie agreed and the two hugged, but a few viewers noticed something a bit off.
Rebecca’s top lifted slightly for a split-second, revealing a prosthetic baby bump that looked a lot like a pillow.

Thankfully the bump will soon be no more as Rebecca’s due to go into labour on this evening’s episode.
There’s plenty more drama on the cards for the Whites, who’ll be involved in a “spectacular” exit storyline in the New Year.
It’s not yet certain if Rebecca will be leaving the show.
“There’s been speculation there could be a death as part of their exit story, but I don’t want to reveal too much,” producer Iain MacLeod has said.
