The EastEnders teaser for the New Year’s episode has everyone in tears

The teaser for the New Years Eve episode for EastEnders has been released.

We all knew the day was coming when the Mitchell sisters would leave Albert Square, but we still don’t know for sure how it will happen.

Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell are central to the teaser for the very last episode of 2016 and it has everyone in tears as they are set to leave the show.

We’d heard before that their exit would coincide with Ronnie’s wedding to Jack Branning and would see the two girls drowning during the evening celebrations, but there’s no hint at this ending from the trailer.

The girls can be seen having an argument where Ronnie must decide between Jack and Roxy. The end of the trailer, though, could shed some light on what might happen them:
