The hitmaker announced it on Twitter half an hour before he appeared on the teeny iArena Stage at the Suffolk event.

The savviest of festival goers acted on the tip doing the rounds on site earlier, not to mention Ed being spotted nearby at The Station Hotel pub in Framlingham a few days before, supping beer with with Nicole Scherzinger.
