The most important film of 2019
The Fast & Furious franchise is arguably the greatest human achievement since William Shakespeare decided to write some plays, so it is only right that we are getting spin-off movie Hobbs & Shaw.
One thing the series has done brilliantly is constantly add in new actors and raise the stakes to insane levels – what started out as a movie about Vin Diesel and Paul Walker stealing DVD players is now about a team of superspies that has featured Ludacris, The Rock, Jason Statham, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, Gal Gadot and Kurt Russell.
Now The Rock and Jason Statham have teamed up for their own Vin Diesel-less adventure, and the first trailer does not disappoint.

Idris Elba appearing to be actually bulletproof.
Jason Statham having a cheeky pint.
Homer Simpsons’ boxing entrance music.
The Rock pointing out that he’s already saved the world three times in F&F continuity.
Idris Elba with a flamethrower.
The Rock swinging a dead bad guy off a building and smashing a lift while mouthing “Fuck off” to Jason Statham.
Sadly though, we don’t get to see The Rock and fellow former WWE champ Roman Reigns teaming up in traditional Samoan grab, as teased on his Instagram.
