“We all have our secrets – we just didn’t get to yours yet”

The first trailer for the 25th James Bond movie No Time To Die is here, and it looks to continue with the super-serious vibe Daniel Craig has brought to the character.

Most excitingly, we get a look at Rami Malek’s bad guy, who wears a creepy Phantom of the Opera mask. We also get the first appearance of Captain Marvel‘s Lashana Lynch, who is playing another 00 Agent, possibly the replacement 007, and who was somewhat erroneously reported to be the first black, female James Bond by various tabloids in the hope of stimulating horrible Facebook comments from your uncle. She looks pretty cool.

Also returning alongside Craig are Ralph Fiennes as MNaomie Harris as Ms MoneypennyRory Kinnear as MI6 chief of staff, Bill Tanner, Ben Whishaw as Q, Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter and Léa Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann, that most rare of things, a Bond girl that gets to appear in more than one film.

The official synopsis for the film reads:

In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
