Tuggle toured with Fleetwood Mac for two decades
Former Fleetwood Mac keyboardist Brett Tuggle has died aged 70.
The musician, who was also a member of the David Lee Roth Band, passed away on Sunday from complications related to cancer, Rolling Stone reports.
He spent two decades on tour with Fleetwood Mac during their reunion era, and also played with the likes of Jimmy Page and Rick Springfield.
In a tribute on Twitter, Springfield wrote: “Our sweet Brett Tuggle made it home tonight. God bless his beautiful spirit @BrettTuggle1.”

He is survived by his daughter Michelle and son Matt, who said his family was “with him throughout the entire time of his illness”.
“He was a lovely father. He gave me music in my life,” Matt added.
Tuggle first toured with Fleetwood Mac after playing a gig with Mick Fleetwood’s side project, the Zoo.
He would go on to play keyboards on every Fleetwood Mac tour from 1997 to 2017, and also often played for band members Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, and Buckingham McVie.

Fans have taken to social media to pay tribute to the musician.
Alongside two photos of Tuggle on stage, one wrote: “I was fortunate enough to see Brett Tuggle perform with @LBuckingham in September 2021 here in MN. Here’s a screenshot from a clip from their DC show days later (with Brett shown clasping his hands), and a @KorgUSA shot of Brett and Lindsey from an earlier tour. #RIPBrettTuggle.”

Another said: “Brett was an unsung hero in so many HUGE bands: Rick, David Lee Roth, Fleetwood Mac. He was a stellar human. He personally responded to a fan email I sent him years ago about his big contributions to all these bands. So sad. Condolences to his family and friends.”
