Some Liverpool fans will still have a special place for Djibril Cisse in their hearts.
Despite never really setting the Premier League alight with his goals, he did manage to score a penalty in the shoot-out against AC Milan in Istanbul.
Since leaving Anfield, the Frenchman has played for an assortment of clubs with spells at Sunderland, QPR and Lazio but it seems that Cisse has carved out a nice career for himself behind the decks since retiring.
The flamboyant striker is a DJ now, and for Mariah Carey no less.
The diva played at the Bercy Arena in Paris this week and she opted to have the former Liverpool striker on the decks. Cisse took to Twitter to express his delight at the news by saying “I have the honour and pleasure to announce that I’m doing the first part of the great Mariah Carey evening.”
We wonder if Mariah has spent a bit of time standing on the Kop? We’d love to be a fly on the wall during their conversations.
