The one-off return of TFI Friday was more successful than anyone could have imagined, hitting a peak of more than four million viewers.
Such impressive numbers have brought calls for the 90s staple to return permanently, and presenter Chris Evans has admitted the future of the show is in the hands of Channel 4.
Right, bed. After two 4 a.m. Finishes in a row. TFi album now number one on i Tunes. Hilarious. Future of TFi in C4's hands. Tweet them LMK

The comeback featured guest appearances from the likes of Liam Gallagher and Jeremy Clarkson, and viewing figures were more than double what it received in its 90s heyday.
Even Shaun Ryder, whose sweary appearance on the show’s first run went down in history, showed up to apologise for his past misdemeanours.
Evans claimed that the 90-minute comeback slot could easily have been extended to three hours, so it seems as though the show would have no trouble finding enough material for a full run.
However whether that comes to fruition, and whether it would even involve Evans, is yet to be decided.
In the meantime we’ll just settle down and enjoy the best bits from TFI Friday’s original run.
