So many to choose from. Did your favourite make the list?
Picking your favourite Game of Thrones moment is harder than trying to remember the lineage of every single House in Westeros. Since debuting seven years ago – you can take our quiz on the very first episode here – GoT has become a TV phenomenon that’s unlike anything else.
We’d argue that the excitement and expectation levels before the release of any new Game of Thrones episode are superior to that of most films and as for the production values, well, Game of Thrones, reigns supreme with fire and blood.
With Season 8 set for release next year, fans are eagerly waiting on the conclusion to the epic series and while we’ve all got theories on who will end up on the Iron Throne, Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) asked fans via Twitter to share their favourite moments from the superb show.
Truth be told, picking one moment from the last seven years is incredibly difficult because every episode is brimming with magic. Right from the shocking finale to the very first episode, we knew that life in the Seven Kingdoms was going to be unlike anything else that’s on TV – poor Bran, if only he took Catelyn’s advice and stopped climbing.
Throughout the seven seasons, there have been some truly remarkable episodes – Baelor, Blackwater, The Watchers on the Wall, The Rains of Castamere, The Battle of the Bastards, The Winds of Winter, The Spoils of War and Beyond the Wall are just some of the episodes that stand out – so picking a favourite moment is incredibly tough.
Anyway, here’s what some GoT fans opted for. Valar morghulis!
