And so, King’s Landing fell. The inevitable sacking of the city came just as Daenerys promised, through fire and blood. This much we could have predicted. But many aspects of the show’s penultimate episode greatly disappointed fans, who have tweeted their rage.
Some took aim at the show creators known as D&D, David Benihoff and D.B. Weiss for disappointing and ill-judged character arcs. One tweeter channelled their rage through the medium of notorious Manchester United fan, Andy Tate.

Many fans were disappointed with Jaime Lannister’s decision to reunite with Cersei, his sister whom he has always loved, given how much time went into his redemption arc.
In S1E1, Jamie Lannister pushes Bran Stark out a window. This is subtle foreshadowing for S8E5, where eight seasons of Jamie’s character development are similarly thrown out the window. #GameOfThrones pic.twitter.com/Aq3umWiSk5

Others were just plain disgusted.

All I'm gonna say is, that was a terrible episode that ruined a lot of good possible endings and I am now no longer excited to see the finale #GOT

Still, at least the cinematography was good.
This episode of GoT might have been terrible, but boy did it have some amazing shots pic.twitter.com/lZqKa0uq89
