Winter is here.
Game of Thrones fans should be used to dealing with bad news by now, however, the recent announcement that Season 7 will have fewer episodes and premiere at a later date was a cruel blow.
Hell, even Joffrey and Ramsay would have been proud of that one.
While we’re waiting to find out if Dany has successfully crossed the Narrow Sea and if Jon turns out to be a better King in the North than his brother Robb, fans of the show have already begun to speculate about what’s in store in the Seven Kingdoms.
Theories are flying about everywhere, but the cast have also weighed in on what they expect to unfold in Westeros during Season 7.
Speaking at Comic-Con, here’s what they think might happen.
Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran)
“Bran’s got this mark from the Night’s King on his arm; it ruined the magic of the cave. I think it might ruin the magic of the Wall. I reckon Bran will have a dilemma about whether or not he goes through the Wall.”
This is an incredibly popular theory and one that seems entirely plausible.
Sophie Turner (Sansa)
“There are so many directions she could go. She could really embrace the power that she has and go on to be something of a leader alongside Jon. She could be very embittered by the whole thing and try to take Littlefinger’s side. Maybe she’ll have a taste for killing and develop a sadistic side.”
We’ve previously reported here that not everything is hunky dory in House Stark.
Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton)
“I’m hoping to see an epic sea battle. I feel there’s one coming in the cards.”
Could this be an epic showdown between Euron Greyjoy’s fleet and Daenerys’ (led by Yara)? After all, we know that Theon’s uncle has plans to set sail for Mereen. Surely these two will cross paths on the oceans.
Kristian Nairn (Hodor)
“In my opinion, the Walkers are going to steamroll the Lannisters, so there’s going to be a huge battle and they’re going to die. I can’t wait.”
We know nothing.
