Here’s an early Christmas present.
To the theme of The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire) :
Melisandre’s victims roasting on an open fire,
Ramsay’s dogs are nipping at your nose,
Battle cries being sung by a choir,
And folks being killed by their foes.
Spoiler alert. Christmas is a time when families come together and Season 6 of Game of Thrones had some incredibly happy moments for all of the Houses in Westeros.
You know, just ignore the fact that Ramsay Bolton killed his own father, Cersei’s actions drove her only remaining child into the grave and Euron Greyjoy desperately wants to murder his niece and nephew.
See, happy families.
One thing that could even make Jon Snow smile though is the fact that, for the second year running, Sky Atlantic will be showing every single episode of Game of Thrones over the Christmas season.
Starting from December 16th, you’ll be able to relive some of your favourite moments from the world’s most popular show.
If you’re struggling to get into the Christmas spirit, another viewing of The Red Wedding should do it.
