While certain people seem intent on tearing the world apart, it’s fitting to reflect on Ricky Gervais’ take on what the most violent and destructive animal on the planet is.

If you fancy a distraction from some of the bleaker events in the world, or an escape from this King Kong-sized beast, the comedian has just the thing for you.
Gervais has added more dates to his first worldwide stand-up tour in seven years and tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday February 24 via Livenation.
Regarding the upcoming tour, he said : ‘Humanity is my angriest, most honest and I think my best tour yet. It’s probably my most personal too. I feel I may as well tell you everything before I die.”
